A rock resembling the popular cartoon character's head is perched on the north side of the bay. This is a popular spot for day trippers and snorkellers as island number 8 also has camping facilities. Consequently food and material makes its way into the ocean which then attracts molluscs, gastropods and crustaceans making Donald Duck Bay an excellent night dive spot. Thousands of red eyes look back in the gloomy darkness, rock lobster and some large gastropods may also be seen. Towards the northern end of the bay are a few large boulders where sleeping turtles may be found.
