One of the central and closest islands in the group this one is more suited to novices and snorkellers. Unfortunately a lot of the shallow plate and staghorn coral has been destroyed by the tsunami. Huge boulder corals can be seen upturned in the sand, the reef has been decimated on the shore side of the island however there is still an abundance of fish and smaller reef critters. The ocean side seems to have escaped the backwash and the coral is in better condition.
