Ang Thong Marine National Park consists of 42 islands, its name means "Golden Urn" in Thai. The scenery topside is very similar to Pha-nga Bay over on the Andaman side with many limestone outcrops and formations. The two most popular dive spots are at Koh Wao and Hin Yippon where you can enter shallow caves and swimthroughs. Soft and black corals are plentiful and you may spot banded sea snakes and turtles here. It is also one of the few places where, if you're lucky, you may see a seasonal Dwarf Minke Whale.
