Thailand :: Koh Chang : Thonburi Wreck

The Thonburi is a Thai warship that was sunk by the French over a colonial dispute in the 1940's. The wreck is quite close to the shore and in shallow water, currents can be strong and the visibility is usually poor. Best time to dive is at low and slack tides when the water is calm, usually better to arrange the dive with local fishermen who know the waters.
