Koh Ngam Yai is one of the further islands from the mainland. It is also home to some bigger visitors such as groupers, jacks and the occasional turtle. With abundant coral gardens bristling with colour housing all manner of reef invertebrates and crustaceans. Dives are usually off the northern tip of the island where the coral drops to around 20 metres and visibility can be good if your're lucky. Saddle back anemone fish and pipe fish can be found here on close inspection, crown of thorn starfish are also a common sight here. Fishing nets are often spotted draped over the coral which is surprising as the area is supposed to be a National Park.
