This small island is situated 10 km southwest of Panglao and is surrounded by a coral reef that is good for both diving and snorkelling. There is a 400m marine sanctuary on the southern side that is truely spectacular. Many claim this to be the best site in the Visayas.
At the sanctuary, there are walls, drop-offs and overhangs that house huge fans, and table and star corals. Soft and hard corals abound in the shallows and these, together with anemones, sponges, crinoids and feather stars make the area ideal for photography.
Fish life is profuse also and you can expect to encounter barracuda, jacks, groupers and batfish, among others.
