This site is found on the eastern side of the island, south of Samakai Wall. It stretches about 3km inland to the port of Colonia. The bottom is sandy and there are a couple of areas of note, diving wise. The entrance is an easy drift dive amongst a good array of fish that congregate here. There is a wreck of a WW2 LCU lying upright in the channel with a torpedo resting closeby. Corals are in quite good condition and marine life includes parrotfish, lobsters and larger pelagics.
Slightly further south is Telegraph Reef that is named after a telegraph cable laid by the Germans that reached to Singapore. This is a particularly good night dive when you can expect to see lionfish, stonefish and crinoids.
Another good night dive close to the above is Fan Dancer. Again, it is a sandy-bottomed channel that extends 3km inshore to a lagoon. Inside you'll come across a good variety of hard and soft corals in first-class condition. The entrance is inhabited by plenty of marine life and there is still various WW2 ordnance scattered about the bottom.
