This shallow calm spot is usually used for training dives. It has a wide variety of hard and soft coral with all the regular reef fish found at the deeper spots. The house reefs are also popular with snorkellers due to their proximity to the beach. The cuttlefish mating season can be observed here in March.
Tom Yam Wreck
Just a little further out from the House Reef is the Tom Yam wreck sitting upright in around 20 meters of water. This makes an excellent easily accessible night dive where the entire wreck comes alive with cleaner shrimp, crabs, dragon snails, featherstars and lionfish.
