The large flat island of Montehage lies to the north og Bunaken. A wide shallow reef is exposed at low tide and the dive sites are around the walls to the south and west of the island. Great coral growth on the fringing reefs of Bango and Tangkasi with soft corals, sponges, squirts and many juvenile fish. Gorango on the west side has a nice long wall to dive.
The highlight here is a site called Barracuda point on the northern shore. Slightly exposed here with strong currents which draws huge schools of barracuda that hang out in the blue. The wall isnt as spectacular as other sites in Bunaken but its the big fish that get the limelight here.
